242053 Sjt. Henry G. SIGOURNAY (Stratford E.)

(Recommended for Distinguished Conduct Medal)

For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During an attack he led his platoon with great gallantry and rendered valuable assistance to the one remaining subaltern of his Company. His courage and cheerfulness both in the trenches and in the attack have been a splendid example to all.
