Captain Iorwerth Hubert LLOYD-WILLIAMS R.A.M.C. (T.F.) attached 1/5th Battalion Lincolnshire Regt.

(Recommended for Military Cross)

For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty on the 29th September 1918 when the enemy defences East of BELLENGLISE were attacked on the 3rd October 1918 during an attack on the enemy defences between RAMICOURT and SEQUENHART. This Officer during the two days mentioned displayed great courage and devotion toe duty in attending to the wounded, on the 3rd October 1918 the Regimental Aid Post had to be in an exposed position in order to deal with casualties rapidly and this Officer worked continuously for twenty-four hours under shell fire attending to the wounded. His courage and devotion to duty inspired his staff and I cannot speak too highly of the services he rendered. This Officer is not it possession of any decoration.
