This man came out with the Division on 28/02/1915 and has served with it since. During the greater part of that time he has acted as a Company stretcher bearer. In all operations in which he has been engaged including those from September 29th – November 10th 1918, BELLENGLISE-SEMERIES he has displayed outstanding courage and clogged perseverance of a high order. The example he has set to all ranks has been invaluable.
